Sea cargo transport up 31% in Azerbaijan in Jan 09

Cargo shipments via sea saw a 30.8-percent increase in January of this year, having stood at 893,000 tons of goods, according to Azerbaijans State Statistical Committee. 
The major part of the cargo transported, 73.2 percent, was oil products.
Meanwhile, the volume of load/unload operations at the Baku International SeaTransport Port increased by 5.5 percent in January, Today.az reports according to RZD-Partner.
