The program for port section of NEVA-2009 exhibition has been presented to the participants of the meeting held by the Committee on port infrastructure development investment programs of the Association of Sea Commercial Ports on February 25 in Mortsentr-TEK in Moscow.
The event’s organization committee has recommended to approve a proposal of CJSC Transtec Neva Exhibitions to include methodical assistance for working group of the 10th anniversary exhibition and conference NEVA-2009 (September 2009) in development of recommendations on inclusion of urgent issues related to promotion of port infrastructure development programs into the Committee’s plan of activities.
Apart from traditional issues related to production of maritime equipment for port infrastructure development, development of Arctic and northern ports for the needs of the transport corridor Northern Sea Route, export-import transportation in Arctic and uninterrupted supply of hydrocarbons extracted at the shelf, the subject of the port section of NEVA-2009 exhibition includes the following new ones:
equipment, technologies and systems ensuring port security
methods, technologies and equipment ensuring environment friendly operation of port complexes, port fleet, sea and river transport
development of port facilities for passenger and ferry services, maritime and river cruise tourism.
