Annual capacity of Russian seaports will grow by 54 mln tons in 2013, PortNews IAA reporter cites Aleksandr Davydenko as saying at the meeting of RosMorRechFlot Council in Moscow.
According to RosMorRechFlot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency), port facilities with annual capacity of 72 mln tons were put into operation in 2012.
As Sergei Gorelik, Deputy Head of the Agency, said at the meeting, the volume of private investments in Russia’s port sector totaled RUR 27 bln in 2012. The peak of private investment into the industry is expected in 2015 with its volume to be four times as high as the budgetary financing.
