Oil and LPG export via Tamanneftegazexport terminal made 1.44 mln tons in 2012

Export of crude oil and liquified petroleum gas via the terminal of Tamanneftegazexport CJSC (Taman-based transshipment complex of liquified petroleum gas, crude oil and oil products, Krasnodar Territory) to sea-going vessels totaled 1.441 mln tons in 2012. According to the company’s press center, 30 tankers were loaded at the terminal in 2012.

Oil shipment from the terminal in Taman port commenced in June 17, 2012. Over the past year the company shipped 1.415 mln tons of oil delivered to the terminal by railway transport. 

The first shipment of LPG took place on August 23, 2012. By the end of 2012 the terminal transshipped to sea-going vessels 13,300 tons of butane, 9,840 tons of gas with propane-butane fractions and 4,854 tons of propane. All in all the tanks of the company’s terminal accepted some 45 tons of LPG.

In 2013, the company plans to put into operation a terminal for transshipment of heavy fuel oil and to expand the capacity of the oil transshipment complex. In the future, transshipment of oil cargo is expected to reach 10.5 mln tons per year.

Tamanneftegazexport CJSC is a customer and the operator of the Taman-based transshipment complex of liquified petroleum gas, crude oil and oil products. The construction started in 2004. Private investments totaled $1.5 bln.
