Josif Vinski, Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine obliged state companies within the Ministry’s framework to terminate joint operation agreements with private companies, the Ministry’s press center reports.
Josif Vinski said latest inspection of Iljichevsk port confirmed inefficiency of such agreements.
The Minister set a task to review and terminate cooperation of state companies with private business to make mechanisms of port activities more transparent.
A so-called ‘roadmap’ is to be developed for each enterprise within three months. "I will personally control this issue,” Vinski said.
It should be reminded that 11 state enterprises including Odessa, Nikolayev, Mariupol, Sevastopol, Belgorod-Dnestrovski, Kerch and Illjichevsk ports concluded agreements on joint operation with private companies in 1997-2007.
