Throughput of Vladivostok Container Terminal down 19% to 27,288 TEU in Jan-Feb 09

In February 2009, Vladivostok Container Terminal handled 12,528 TEU (68% of February throughput in 2008), the company reports.

In the 2-month period, the company handled 27,288 TEU (-19%, year-on-year).


In February 2009, transshipment of export cargo amounted to 5,338 TEU, import –3,473 TEU, coastal trade cargo – 3,717 TEU. Loaded/empty containers ratio was 50.6% and 49.4% respectively. 
In February the terminal handled 61 vessels with average turnover of 205.4 TEU per vessel.
