Throughput of Commercial Port of Vladivostok down 3.5% to 955,700 tons in Jan-Feb'13

In January-February  2013, Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP OJSC, part of FESCO Transportation Group) handled 955,700 tons of cargo (-3.5%, year-on-year), the company informs.

Export/import/coastwise transshipment of dry/liquid bulk as well as other general cargo totaled 424,400 tons.

In the accounting period VMTP handled 70,689 TEUs of containerized cargo and 12,849 units of automobiles and automotive equipment. 

In Jan-Feb '13 average daily handling made 16,198 tons of cargo. 

Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC owns and operates the property complex of the port of Vladivostok, one of Russia’s largest ports in the Far East. It is a part of FESCO Transport Group. Commercial Port of Vladivostok operates 17 berths including container, passenger, motor car specialized berths. In 2012 the company’s throughput grew by 4%, to 6,668,100 tons.
