ESPO first stage fulfilled 90%
The solemn mounting and welding of the junction at 2 500 kilometer of the first stage of the main pipeline “Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean” was held, it means that ESPO first stage has been fulfilled 90%; “Russian Newspaper” informs. Nickolai TOKAREV, the President of JSC AK Transneft, Vyacheslav SHTYROV, the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and Alexander NOVOPASHIN, the first vice-President of JSC Stroytransgas, attended the event. Stroytransgas is the largest company dealing in oil-and-gas and power building; it has been working on ESPO construction since 2006. In February it started building of the next ESPO stage 200 kilometers away from the town of Aldan, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia); its length is 32 km. The company is involved in building of 7 pipeline sections with total length of 488.7 kilometers and Skovorodino oil-transfer pump plant that is located in the ESPO first stage terminal point. The builders of the main pipeline, including Stroytransgas have a bit of a job completing of ESPO first stage by the end of this year. The first 1 000 kilometers of the eastern pipeline was brought into operation last October and ESPO sections built by Stroytransgas have been delivering the Siberian oil to the customers.
