Oil price up to $53.47 in London and to $53.80 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $2.25 on March 23 to $53.47 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $1.73 to $53.80 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
