4 new terminals to be put into operation in Ust-Luga port by 2015 – seaport administration
2 new terminals are planned for the construction in Ust-Luga port (Leningrad region) in 2013 – a complex for transshipment of liquefied petroleum gas and light oil products (LPG, SIBUR-Holding) and a complex for transshipment of stable gas condensate (NOVATEC). According to PortNews IAA journalist, this was announced by Aleksandr Volkov, Harbor Master of Ust-Luga port, at the VI annual international conference Trilogy held in St. Petersburg.
According to Volkov, a terminal for mineral fertilizers (EuroChem) and a metallurgic terminal (United Metallurgical Company CJSC) will also be built at the port within two years.
There are 11 terminals in the port today.
According to the Harbor Master’s forecasts, throughput of Ust-Luga port will reach 55 mln tons in 2013 due to the launch of the two new terminals.
