LUKOIL and Leningrad region sign protocol on construction of Primorsk-Vysotsk pipeline
Aleksandr Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad region, and Vagit Alekperov, LUKOIL President have signed a protocol on cooperation of the regional government and the company in the development of infrastructure for transportation and transshipment of fuel and energy resources in a part of building a pipeline from port Primorsk to port Vysotsk, press center of the regional government reports.
The project implementation is supposed to consist of two phases. The first phase implies the construction of a leadaway pipe from Primorsk seaport to RPK-Vysotsk-LUKOIL-II. The proposals have been prepared for the approval of a route for the Primorsk-Vysotsk pipeline and quarterly schedule for the project implementation.
As it was reported earlier, the cooperation on the construction of oil product pipeline Primorsk-Vysotsk was confirmed by the Agreement on Cooperation between the oil company and the region dated February 8, 2013. The Leningrad region undertook to facilitate the approval of the route and allocation of land for construction of the pipeline.
At the meeting of February 22, a working group was set up for the project implementation. The group is headed by Yuri Pakhomovski, Vice-Governor of the Leningrad region on housing and utilities infrastructure and fuel and energy complex, and Mikhail Krykhivsi, Director General of LUKOIL-Trans LLC.
