On May 29 2013, the UNDP Black Sea Trade and Investment Promotion Program is organizing the “Black Sea Discovery: Exciting Cruise Destinations on the Black Sea”. The event organized in the framework of the Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum, and in co-operation with the respective ministries and the Posidonia Forum organizers will be held in Athens, Greece.
According to UNDP press release, the primary objective of the Forum is to provide a venue for cruise ships representatives, tour operators and three particular Black Sea commercial sea ports to network, collaborate and set business linkages in cross-country level as well as to identify new and attractive destinations for cruise ships.
The panel organised by the UNDP will be divided as follows:Expert panel representing the latest research on Black Sea regional attraction for cruise ships – regional concept, individual approach; Presentations from three destinations: Sochi (Russia), Trabzon (Turkey), Constanta (Romania) of the respective seaport authority and the main tour operator; Face2Face meetings between the respective Black sea commercial sea port, tour operators and cruise ship representatives.
