Extra costs of ship owners for equipment of vessels with the systems reducing NOx emissions will not exceed 24%. As IAA PortNews journalist reports, this was announced by Danish Minister for Trade and Investment Pia Olsen Dyhr at the Baltic Sea Forum in St. Petersburg.
According to her, many vessels are already fitted with such equipment as they sail to the North America where restrictions were introduced earlier.
