  LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka LLC holds OSR exercise at Volga water area

  

  Berth No 2 of LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka LLC water shipment area (oil product storage and transportation facility) hosted the special tactical training exercises on response to oil spill at water surface of the Volga river, IAA PortNews learnt from the company.

  The purpose of the exercise was to verify the efficiency of the Plan on prevention and response to oil spills at the hazard substance transportation area of LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka LLC.

  Besides, the company press center says it was necessary to estimate sufficiency of undertaken and planned measures on prevention of oil spills as well as sufficiency of forces and facilities for emergency response.

  As it is reported, the navigation season of 2013 commenced early, from March 25. The water shipment area personnel loaded 11 tankers in March and 60 vessels in April (by April 23).
