First two storage tankers anchored near Kronshtadt (Big Port St. Petersburg)
First two storage tankers have been placed at anchorage 5А near Kronshtadt (Big Port St. Petersburg). According to automated system of Big Port Harbour Master services, NS Burgas tanker (capacity of 83,750 tonnes, Flag of Liberia, owned by NS BURGAS SHIP) was placed on May 9, 2013. The second tanker, Hrvatska (capacity of 84,320 tonnes, Flag of Croatia, owned by Pulsar Maritime) was placed on May 10, 2013. Both vessels will be serviced by Infotech Baltica CJSC. The tankers will be used for off-harbour transshipment of Russian oil products destined for export during summer navigation of 2013.
The storage tankers were placed at the roads of Big Port St. Petersburg by tugboats of Port Fleet CJSC.
As IAA PortNews reported earlier, in summer navigation 2012, four storage tankers were placed at the roads of Big Port St. Petersburg for export transshipment of oil products.
