Diving complex MGVK-300 obtains RS class
Deepwater diving complex MGVK-300 has obtained the class of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the classification society says in its press release.
The complex is a modular system for deep diving and simultaneous work of 9 persons 300 meters deep. MGVK-300 is the first RS class deepwater diving complex able to operate at such a depth.
RS commissioned technical supervision of the diving complex from MezhRegionTruboprovodStroi OJSC which ordered the construction to LexMar Engineering Pte Ltd (Singapore). RS experts have considered the project, approved technical documentation, supervised the construction and testing. The complex was certification was carried out in Singapore, the final phase with the launch took place on Sakhalin. The complex passed all the tests including diving with divers on board. Upon the results of technical supervision RS issued the certificate of RS class: К✪ SDS. The complex will be installed on the supply vessel Kendrik.
