St. Petersburg Transport Committee eyes new ways of passenger transportation by water routes
In the context of reorganization of two Aquabus lines, St. Petersburg Transport Committee is considering new water routes focused on transportation of passengers to major offices and business centers. According to the Committee’s press center, new water services can link different districts of the city with the Vasilyevsky Island and Gazprom business center being built in Lakhta.
Besides, the Committee is eyeing a possibility to extend the Primorskaya line to Sinopskaya embankment.
Municipal water transport Aquabus has opened the navigation season today, May 29. This year the service will be provided by St. Petersburg company MBS LLC.
