Passenger traffic of Marine Façade (St. Petersburg) up 24.1% to 192,500 persons in HI’13

In the first half of 2013, passenger traffic of JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" hit 192,567 persons, up 24.1% against the 6-moth period of 2012, the company says. 

By the beginning of July, the port serviced 102 vessels against 86 vessels handled in January-June 2012.

All in all, Marine Façade is to accept 260 vessels and service 504,000 passengers in 2013 (+19.5%, year-on-year).

JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 311 m long and with a draft of up to 9 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay wall length – 2,171.06 m.
