Houston bunker follow falling crude prices

Bunker prices in Houston were mostly soft last week, according to data from Ship & Bunker, following crude's pattern of losses through Thursday before making a gain at the week's end.

380 cSt grade bunker fuel ended the week steady at $587.00 per metric tonne (pmt), a loss of $11.00 week-on-week to put prices just $0.50 higher than they were 1 month ago.

Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) made the same $-11.00 change over the week to end at $611.00 on Friday, putting the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel at $24.00 pmt.

MGO climbed $3.50 to $1002.00 pmt, $13.00 higher month-on-month.
