In connection with the St. Petersburg G-20 summit, all private small-size, sport and pleasure boats and yachts will be banned from entering the Gulf of Finland from their home bases. The ban is effective until September 7, 2013, the Volga-Balt Authority said in a media release.
Besides, the Russian maritime authorities may impose some restrictions on docking of vessels at the berths of Lieutenant Schmidt embankment on September 1-7, 2013. Shipowners agents are recommended not to schedule docking at the above berths during the period.
Between 4 and 7 of September navigation may be restricted in the waters of the Neva River below the Alexander Nevsky Bridge.
