In August, Russian companies have exported through the ports of the Krasnodar Territory 1.8 million metric tons of oil products, or 700 tonnes more than in July, the statistics of RosSelkhozNadzor (*) for Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea showed.
Grain was commonly the major export commodity: shipments of the cargo via the southern region’s ports in August reached 1.5 million tonnes. Grain was exported to 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Barley was the second major cargo - 227,800 tonnes, followed by corn and peas – 12,700 and 2,500 tonnes, respectively.
Exports of feed and its components (meal, oil cake, bran) were slightly down, 16,800 tonnes from July’s figure – 18,400 tonnes.
In August, shipments of rice plunged nearly twofold month-on-month to 3,200 tonnes.
