DFDS will introduce the vessel Kaunas Seaways on the route between the Port of Kapellskär and Paldiski in Estonia. The number of calls will also increase from six to seven each week, said in the company's press release.
“We are very happy that DFDS is focusing more on Kapellskär and we extend a warm welcome to the Kaunas Seaways,” says Ports of Stockholm's Marketing Director Henrik Widerståhl.
The Kaunas Seaways will begin to operate on the route from 4 October. The vessel previously sailed between Klaipéda in Lithuania and Sassnitz in Germany. The vessel has the same capacity as the Patria Seaways, which currently operates on the route.
