Dmitry Medvedev has appointed the Government’s Transport Committee, RF Government statement says.
The Committee will be chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich with RF Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov as the Deputy Chairman.
The Committee members: Alexander Galushka, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East; Vladimir Dmitriyev, Chairman of the State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs; Maksim Akimov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Government Executive Office; Vladimir Yakunin, President of Russian Railways, etc.
The Government’s Transport Committee is a permanently operating body coordinating the activities of the executive authorities and their interaction with the representatives of the business community in issues related to the development and implementation of the state policy priorities in the sphere of RF transport development, in particular, scientific, research & technology and innovative activities.
The draft order was elaborated by RF Transport Ministry.
