In January-September, 2013, Universal Reloading Complex (port Ust-Luga, Leningrad region) handled 2.6 mln t of cargo (+17%, year-on-year), the company’s press center says.
According to the statement, the positive dynamics should be attributed to larger volumes of export coal (core cargo of URC) driven by the growing demand for energy products. Transshipment of thermal coal surged 1.6 times to 2.4 mln t.
Besides, the complex more than doubled transshipment of import manganese ore to 99,000 tonnes.
