Recently, ZPMC won the bidding of 2 port machinery projects in Tangshan Port and Dalian Port respectively. The total amount is up to RMB 0.617 billion, the Company said in a press release.
Tangshan Port purchased 4 container cranes and 14 yard cranes with the contract amount of RMB 0.337 billion for its loading/unloading berth in Jingtang District. The batch of equipments will be delivered by the end of August, 2014. At the beginning of July, ZPMC won the bid of 3 2100t/h ship unloaders, which were used in new coal berth in the district. The new cooperation fully embodied Tangshan Port user’s approval of ZPMC’s brand quality and service.
Dalian Port purchased 4 container cranes and 8 yard cranes for its Taipingwan District with the contract amount of RMB 0.28 billion. As the main base area of Dalian implementing the strategy of macrocosm urbanization and shipping center construction, Dalianwan District will rely on its port economic zone to build 6 berths by 2015 and 12 berths by 2017. By the end of 2022, it would have built the large port with the cargo handling capacity of 300 million tons. Completing the whole engineering project will has positive bearing on strengthening market competitiveness of Dalian Port and consolidating its central position in Northeast Asia international shipping.
