Throughput of Ukraine’s water transport down 25.3% to 4.3 mln t Jan-Sep’13

In January-September 2013, water transport of Ukraine carried 4.3 mln t of cargo (-25.3%, year-on-year), State Statistics Committee of Ukraine states.

In the accounting period, cargo turnover declined by 21.4% to 3.26 bln t-km.

All types of transport in Ukraine decreased their volumes except for the automobile transport (+0.3%).

Total volume of cargo transported by all types of transport in Ukraine fell by 3.9%, year-on-year, to 550.8 mln t.
