Throughput capacity of Russian ports up by 30 mln t of cargo per year in 2013

Total growth of production capacity of Russian seaports increased by 30 mln t, IAA PortNews journalists cites Aleksandr Poshivai, deputy head of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot), as saying the meeting of the Agency’s Expert Board. In particular, the completion of Sochi seaport with coast infrastructure aimed at the creation of an international center for passenger and cruise transportation contributed to the increase.
