Port Kolomna OJSC has completed the reconstruction, renovation and launch of the third barge No 9003 of project Р-85/15ПК1, IAA PortNews learnt from Vladimir Alekseyev, Director General of Port Kolomna.
Vessel’s major characteristics: class RRR «О» 2.0, carrying capacity – 4,200 t,
dimensions: L – 100.7 m; В – 16.7 m; depth – 3.5 m.
The barge will operate within Port Kolomna’s own fleet.
Port Kolomna OJSC is a multiprofile river transport enterprise which history goes back to 1858. It was incorporated in 1994. The port comprises cargo districts at Moskva and Oka rivers, passenger transportation facility, ship repair plant, vessel lifting facility and other facilities.
The company excavates aggregates, carries out handling and shipping operations, provides commuter services, performs technical modernization and introduction of new facilities, repairs and builds new vessels.
The company’s fleet comprises over 100 vessels.
