September 2013, SITC International Holdings Company Limited a wholly owned subsidiary TaiLian and Shanghai Baoshan Pacific Container Co., Ltd. and Dong Fang International Container (Lianyungang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Oriental Lianyungang") signed a 10000TEU contract of containers manufacturing, the company said in its press release.
SITC chooses a wider area, the Yangtze River Delta, the center of shipping, Shanghai, and the central region, Lianyungang. Baoshan Pacific manufacturing 7000TEU and Oriental Lianyungang manufacturing 3000TEU. After the survey, repeated comparisons and strictly selection by SITC, and scientific forecasting all ports demand in the future. These two successful enterprises were selected from all the vendors after bidding.
SITC is currently owned and leased containers continue to expand year by year, the average age of only three years old. All manufacturing is expected to be completed by the end of November 2013, at that time a batch of new SITC blue containers will be officially put into use, while the proportion of owned containers of SITC will increase.
