RF Government’s Decree on fulfillment of obligations under Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 comes into effect

RF Government Decree No 996 On measures to fulfill RF obligations in respect of under Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 came into effect on November 16, 2013, says the press center of Seafarer’s Union of Russia. The document sets forth the list of relevant authorities to enforce obligations under the Convention which came into effect in August 2013. The authorised authorities are the Ministry of Transport, Rosmorrechflot, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Migration Service, Ministry of Healthcare and Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare.
