Throughput of Ukraine’s river ports down 41.6% to 2.69 mln t

In January-October 2013, river ports of Ukraine handled 3.3 mln t of cargo (-41.6%, year-on-year), says State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

Transshipment of import cargoes in river ports of Ukraine climbed by 14.6% to 340,400 t, export cargoes – down 16.4% to 1.01 mln t, inland traffic cargoes – down 52.9% to 1.94 mln t.
