The Russian Fesco Transportation Group has started a regular weekly service between North America and Saint Petersburg via transhipment in the port of Rotterdam, the company said in its press release.
In New York, Norfolk and Charleston, Fesco books its containers on the Trans Atlantic Express Service (TAE) of the CKYH Green Alliance. They are transferred in the port of Rotterdam to ships from the joint services to Russia with the French shipping company CMA CGM.
With this new service, the Russian shipping company aims mainly at the transport of cars, automotive parts, machines, chemicals and metal products, among other things.
