Seaport of Reni (Ukraine) handled 2.3 mln t of cargo in Jan-Oct’13

In January-October, 2013, commercial seaport of Reni (Ukraine, Odessa region) handled 2.3 mln t of cargo, says press center of Association of Ukrainian Ports 'Ukrport'.

In particular, state stevedores of IMU system (Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine) handled 434,350 t of cargo (18.9% of the total volume); private stevedores handled 1,866,950 t of cargo (81.1%).

The port of Reni consists of 3 cargo districts and a ferry terminal. The quay line is 3,927 meters long, total area – 175.6 ha. The port handles general cargo, dry bulk cargo, automobiles, heavy cargoes and liquid bulk cargo. The port’s annual capacity is 10 mln t of cargo.
