No direct price control to be applied in Russia’s Baltic seaports

No direct price control will be applied in seaports of the Baltic Basin. The analyses of the activities of organizations, which provide services on loading/unloading and storage of cargoes in seaports of the Baltic Basin confirmed the absence of natural monopolies’ signs at the market of liquid and dry bulk cargo handling as well as in the sector of berths services, says press center of RF Federal Tariff Service.

However, the natural monopolies in the transport sector subject to state regulation and control will be obliged to provide information on rates applied quarterly (annually).
