Tender for development of Murmansk Transportation Hub extended till March 3
Rostransmodernizatsia FGI (authority under RF Transport Ministry) has extended the open tender for the development of detailed design and construction of Murmansk Transportation Hub till March 3, 2014. The results will be announced on April 18, 2014, public procurement website says.
It relates to the turn-key construction of Vykhodnoy-Lavna railway line and a bridge crossing over the Tuloma river. Earlier the bidding deadline was January 20, 2014. According to the authority, the deadline was extended “to let everybody participate”. Besides, the contract price has been increased from RUB 40.237 bln to RUB 43.492 bln following the conclusion of the State Exper Commission.
The project on comprehensive development of Murmansk Transportation Hub has been included into the Federal special-purpose programme “Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2015)”. The project also implies the construction of a coal terminal of Commercial Seaport Lavna LLC on the western coast of the Koal Bay. Its initial capacity of 6 mln t will be expanded up to 12 mln t at the second phase and up to 18 mln t at the third phase. Financing of the project is to make RUB 1.532 bln in 2014.
Managing Company “Murmansk Transportation Hub” OJSC was incorporated in 2007 by Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC (40% of the authorized capital), Rosneft OJSC (15%), Russian Railways OJSC (25%), Rosmorport FSUE (15%) and Murmansk region (5%).
