87 vessels expect icebreaker’s assistance at ports of Rostov-on-Don, Azov and Taganrog. As IAA PortNews was informed by Administration of Sea Port Taganrog, 8 vessels expect ice escort towards the port and 35 vessels – towards the sea.
As for the port of Azov, 17 vessels expect ice escort towards the port and 14 vessels – towards the sea.
Low water level has caused suspension of cargo operations at port Taganrog. 6 vessels are ready to leave the port and 7 vessels – to enter the port.
As of 08:00 Moscow time of January 30, 2014, icebreaker Kapitan Moshkin is at port of Taganrog, Kapitan Chudinov – at port Azov, Kapitan Demidov – off the harbour of port Kavkaz.
Ice escorts were terminated on January 27 because of the weather conditions.
