The Primorsk Territory authorities have presented to the investors three draft projects on the construction of grain terminals: in Slavyanka, Zarubino and Vladivostok, say press center of the regional administration.
The first project implies the development of grain transshipment facilities at the commercial seaport of Vladivostok which can presently handle up to 700,000 t of grain per year. Under the second project, a 10-mln t terminal can be built at the Troitsa Bay (Zarubino). 100 hectares of land has already been purchased by an investor for that purpose. The inclusion of the project into the federal special-purpose programme on ports development is in progress today.
The presentation of the projects was held at the meeting dedicated to the construction of grain terminals attended by the representatives of Primorsk authorities, Russian investors willing to build grain terminals as well as the representatives of the Korea Republiс.
According to Consul General of the Korean Republic in Vladivostok Li Yan Gun, Korea is a large importer of grain and it is interested in the appearance of state-of-the-art grain ports in Russia.
