Federal special-purpose programme “Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2020)” is to be reduced by RUB 622 bln, IAA PortNews journalist cites Sergey Gorelik, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency), as saying at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “10 Years of Forward Development” arranged by Rosmorrechflot.
According to him, sub-programme Marine Transport will be reduced by RUB 15 bln in 2017-20. In this context the investment projects in seaports are to be revised with some of them to be excluded.
However, Sergey Gorelik says the largest projects like the construction of the dry cargo district of port Taman will not be frozen.
Financing of sub-programme on the development of inland water transport will also be reduced.
