  RF Transport Ministry says statutory regulations on safety at marine facilities will be elaborated by June 1, 2014

  

  Statutory regulations covering the issues related to safety at marine facilities are to be elaborated by June 1, 2014, IAA PortNews journalist cites Nikolai Zakhryapin, Deputy Transport Minister of Russia, as saying at the IV International Forum “Transport Safety” being held in Saint-Petersburg.
  
  According to him, the regulations will comprise 16 government decrees and 10 orders of the Transport Ministry.
  
  Draft acts will be preliminary put for public consideration as required by Russian legislation.
  
  “It is important to develop proposals allowing prevention of unauthorized entry to marine facilities without creating any problems for business,” the official said.
  
  He called on the parties involved to participate in the development of appropriate regulations.
