Container volume handed at the terminal of Commercial Port of Vladivostok (CPV, part of Transport Group FESCO) in January-July 2014 rose 8.4% year-on-year to 242,630 TEUs, the Group said on Monday.
In June, the CPV's monthly container throughput hit a record high of 47,770 TEUs, or a 22% gain on the previous record box volume handled in November 2013 (46,46 TEUs).
JSC Commercial Sea Port of Vladivostok (CPV) is a stevedore company (part of FESCO Group), which owns and operates facilities, including 17 berths at the sea port of Vladivostok, a premier Russian seaport in the Far East region. Each berth has railway tracks of total length of 20 km. The near-dock rail yard capacity is 1,000 rail cars a day. CPV specializes in handling bulk cargo, liquid bulk, forest products, general cargo and containers. The Company also supplies bunker fuel to ships entering the port.
