The volume of oil products loaded across the network of Novosibirsk branch of Russian private rail operator JSC Freight One (Freight One) in January-June 2014 totaled 995,000 tonnes, which is 1.5 times higher than in the same period last year, the company said Thursday.
Throughput of Novosibirsk unit in this segment soared by 2.6 times year-on-year to 3.2 billion t / km. The Freight One's share in loading tank cars on the West-Siberian Railway (ZSZD)increased from 7% to 10%.
The half-year volume growth was driven by carriage of diesel, gasoline, HFO and raw materials for the petrochemical industry. The liquid bulk cargo was transported from the stations Kombinatskaya, Barabinsk, Kochenevo, Anzherskaya, Sudzhenka of ZSZD to the Far East, Octabrskaya and North-Caucasian railways.
