Arcticmorneftegasrazvedka decommissions two vessels
JSC Arcticmorneftegasrazvedka, a company engaged in the Arctic offshore oil & gas fields exploration and development, has decided to decommission two passenger vessels of the company-owned fleet, the company's PR department said.
The laid-up vessels are the M/V Anna Akhmatova and the M/V Nadezhda.
JSC Arcticmorneftegasrazvedka was created in 1979 for prospecting, exploration and development of oil and gas deposits on the continental shelf of the Arctic seas of Russia. In 2000 the Company discovered in the Barents and Kara Seas large oil and gas deposit. The company owns specialized oil and gas fleet, comprising 24 vessels for various purposes, including the drilling ship Valentin Shashin and the jack-up drilling rig Murmansk.
