Eastern Shipbuilding launched its newest ship off Allanton on Friday afternoon, the company said in its press release. This is the eighth out of ten ships that Eastern is building for Hornbeck Offshore Services. The 50 million dollar ship still has to be fabricated and run through several tests. It will serve as an oil platform supply vessel for several of the company's clients in the region.
