Coal exports from Russia up 12.4% to 100.94 mln t in Jan-Aug’14

In January-August 2014, Russian coal exports increased by 12.4% (11.15 mln t), year-on-year, to 100.94 mln t, the Ministry of Energy statistics said. 

In August, coal exports totaled 12.73 mln t, up 3.8% (468,200 t), year-on-year, while coal production increased by 3% (824,000 t) to 28.17 mln t.
