Western companies seek ways to circumvent sanctions in oil and gas projects of Russia, expert says

Western companies consider possibilities to circumvent sanctions in oil and gas projects of Russia, IAA PortNews journalist cites RusEnergy partner Mikhail Krutikhin as saying at the 4th Yamal & Kara Sea Oil & Gas Conference in Moscow. 

According to him, one of the ways is to arrange facilities for assembling of required equipment in China and its import to Russia under Chinese brands. Nevertheless, the companies may leave Russian market in case of hard-line response of US authorities, the expert thinks.
