In January-September 2014, Rosterminalugol OJSC handled 11,299,185 t of coal (+0.4%, year-on-year), the company told IAA PortNews.
In September, Rosterminalugol handled 1,424,860 t of coal against the plan of 1,321,200 t. 82% of the year plan has been fulfilled over the nine-month period.
In September, the company handled 26 vessels and unloaded 20,175 units of the rolling stock (13%, year-on-year).
In September, record unloading per shift was 447 wagons, per day - 848 wagons.
OJSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Ust-Luga commercial seaport. The terminal’s design annual capacity is 12 million tonnes of coal. Rosterminalugol specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters and depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able to accommodate 240-m-long, 32.2-m-wide vessels. In 2013, coal exports via the terminal increased by 6.9% to 14.72 mln t.
