Crowley Maritime announces changes on Caribbean Islands Service

Crowley Maritime Corporation’s liner services group announces that it will consolidate its port call in Jacksonville serving the Eastern Caribbean including the USVI, BVI, Leeward Islands, and Windward Islands with its port operations in Port Everglades, Florida. Effective the week of November 16, 2014, all cargo for these locations will be handled via Port Everglades only. By consolidating to South Florida, Crowley can continue to provide a high level of service to the Caribbean at competitive rates via more efficient operations leveraging synergies with Crowley’s other lines serving the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Central America already operating from Port Everglades. Crowley’s Puerto Rico services will continue its service via Jacksonville.
