Investments into development of Norwegian shelf to decrease by 10% to NOK 197 bln in 2015
The volume of investments into the development of the Norwegian shelf will decrease by 10% to NOK 197 bln in 2015, IAA PortNews journalist cites Ole Andreas Lindeman, Consul General of Norway in Murmansk, as saying at the 7th International Conference “Arctic Shelf Development: Step by Step”.
According to him, next years – up to 2019 – the level of investments into shelf development will remain at NOK 190-200 bln per year.
The Consul General says the decline of the oi & gas sector will result in reduction of jobs and increase in labour productivity. The Barents Sea is to become a key area of field development.
