Sovfraht handles project cargo shipment from Italy to Antipinsky Refinery (photo)

JSC Sovfraht (part of Sofvraht-Sovmortrans Group) has delivered oversized equipment from Italy to JSC Antipinsky Refinery, the company said in a media release.
The cargo of stripping gas liquid ring compressor was shipped from Monza, Italy to Tyumen, Russia.

Loading of the 150-tonne equipment (13 units) began at the Italian factory Garo on Nov. 11 and lasted two days. Then the cargo was shipped to the port of Marghera, where the cargo was transshipped onto the M/V "Starocherkassk" that transported the project cargo to the port of Rostov-on-Don.  

Customs clearance procedure took 24 hours and then the oversized equipment was transported by heavy lift tractor-trailer trucks to the final destination, Antipinsky Refinery. Under the contract terms the cargo is to be unloaded by the consignee.
