Gazprom posts 9M’14 net profit of RUB 556.25 mln (-35%, year-on-year)

Gazprom has issued its unaudited consolidated interim condensed financial information prepared in accordance with International Accounting Standard 34 “Interim Financial Reporting” (IAS 34) for the nine months ended September 30, 2014. According to the report, profit attributable to Gazprom owners totaled RUB 556.25 mln (-35%, year-on-year). 

Net sales of gas decreased by RUB 39,981 million, or by 2%, to RUB 2,084,404 million in the nine months ended September 30, 2014 compared to the nine months ended September 30, 2013. Operating profit totaled RUB 998.6 bln (-16%, year-on-year), profit before profit tax – RUB 756.85 bln (-31%, year-on-year).
